Mission statement
The Colorado Academy of Educators for the Gifted, Talented, and Creative (CAEGTC) is a professional educational association established in 1992 for the purpose of recognizing, stimulating, strengthening, and nurturing professional excellence in the development and delivery of educational services to the widespread population of gifted, talented, and creative children and youth in schools and districts in Colorado.
What we provide
recognition for educators who have proven training and expertise in gifted student education
professional development for teachers and other educational personnel in the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary for working effectively with gifted, talented, and creative students
scholarships for educators who are seeking graduate degrees and/or state endorsement in gifted education
collaboration with professional educators, parents, and community members in advocating for policies and programs that support and extend the development of gifted, talented, and creative students in Colorado schools and districts
